The order of meridian circulation is that the Foot Tri-Yang Meridian travels from the head to the feet, the Foot Tri-Yin Meridian travels from the feet to the chest and abdomen, the Hand Tri-Yin Meridian travels from the chest and abdomen to the hands, and the Hand Tri-Yang Meridian travels from the hands to the head. In other words, the Foot Yangming Stomach Meridian, the Foot Sun Bladder Meridian, and the Foot Shaoyang Gallbladder Meridian all travel from the head and face, down the torso and lower limbs to the feet, where they meet with the Foot Taiyin Spleen Meridian, the Foot Syncopal Liver Meridian, and the Foot Shaoyin Kidney Meridian, respectively. Then the three meridians, Foot Taiyin Spleen Meridian, Foot Syncopal Liver Meridian, and Foot Shaoyin Kidney Meridian, travel from the feet upward along the lower limbs and trunk to the chest and abdomen, where they intersect with the Hand Shaoyin Heart Meridian, the Hand Taiyin Lung Meridian, and the Hand Sycopal Meridian in the chest and abdomen, respectively. The three yin meridians, the Hand Shaoyin Heart Meridian, the Hand Taiyin Lung Meridian, and the Hand Syncopal Pericardium Meridian, travel downward from the chest and abdomen along the upper limbs to the ends of the fingers, where they intersect with the Hand Sun Small Intestine Meridian, the Hand Yangming Large Intestine Meridian, and the Hand Shao-Yang Triple Burner Meridian, respectively. The Hand Sun Small Intestine Meridian, Hand Yangming Large Intestine Meridian, and Hand Shaoyang Sanjiao Meridian travel upward along the upper extremities of the human body to the head and face, where they intersect with the Foot Sun Bladder Meridian, the Foot Yangming Stomach Meridian, and the Foot Shaoyang Gallbladder Meridian, respectively.
