Chorionic villus biopsy and amniocentesis are clinically indicated to identify the possibility of fetal anomalies and are therefore clinically indicated. The risk of chorionic villus biopsy is higher than that of amniocentesis because it can be relatively more damaging and therefore risky, and can cause localized bleeding. If the irritation causes abruption between the chorion and the uterine wall, there is also the risk of miscarriage or pre-eclampsia, so the risk is higher. In either case, bed rest for 2-3 days is recommended, and proper clinical treatment with anxiety is given to inhibit the contraction of the smooth muscle of the uterus so as to ensure the safety of the procedure. In the post-operative period, you must all keep your vulva clean, scrub it with iodophor 1-2 times a day, and change your underwear diligently.
