Tumors of mesenchymal tissue origin are classified into benign and malignant tumors, benign ones include lipomas, hemangiomas, etc., while malignant ones include liposarcomas and rhabdomyosarcomas. Benign tumors originated from mesenchymal tissues are more common, among which lipomas are the most common benign soft tissue tumors, which usually have no obvious clinical symptoms and are usually given surgical resection; while hemangiomas are mostly seen in children, which can be congenital, and most of them will stop developing after adulthood, or even subside naturally. Common malignant tumors originated from mesenchymal tissues include liposarcoma and rhabdomyosarcoma. Liposarcoma is one of the more common sarcomas in adults, which can occur in the deep soft tissues and retroperitoneum; while rhabdomyosarcoma is more common in children and less common in adults, which occurs in the genitourinary tract and the head and neck, and part of it can occur in the limbs, and the prognosis is poorer due to the metastasis that can easily occur in the early stage of rhabdomyosarcoma.
