Does standing help circulation to the femoral head or does sleeping help circulation to the femoral head?

In contrast, falling asleep (lying down) helps blood circulation to the femoral head. The femoral head is located at the upper end of the femur and forms the hip joint with the acetabulum, surrounding ligaments and muscles. The hip joint carries 80% of the body’s weight. When standing, the femoral head is weight-bearing, maintaining the blood supply of the femoral head requires more power than the lying position. When lying down, you can bend both knees, so that the joint capsule and the muscles around the hip joint are fully relaxed; you can place a soft cushion under the knee joint, so that the knee and hip joints can be supported to relieve the pressure; the sleeping bed should not be too soft, and it should be enough to support the weight and the pressure of the joints. All of these measures are beneficial in maintaining the blood supply to the femoral head. There are many factors affecting the blood circulation of the femoral head, and the effect of body position is relatively small. Improving the blood supply to the femoral head should not be based on this blindly, but should be advised by the doctor after consultation.
