Night sweating (abnormal sweating after going to sleep and stopping sweating after waking up) is mostly caused by yin deficiency and internal heat (deficiency of yin fluid leading to the production of heat in the body). Weakness of the body, chronic illness, or too much thought, damage to the heart and spleen organs, resulting in insufficient blood in the heart (heart blood shortage), the heart fluid is not hidden; overwork, evil heat depletion of yin (hot evil consumption of yin fluid), resulting in yin deficiency and fire (deficiency of yin and essence in the body, the emergence of hyperactive fire), forcing the leakage of fluids. Or emotional disaffection (unruly emotions), liver depression and fire (liver qi is blocked leading to the production of fire-heat evil), or spicy food, dampness and heat (dampness and heat evils are on the exuberant side), forcing the fluid to leak out, and night sweating can occur. The prognosis of night sweating is related to whether the intervention is timely and the cause of the disease. The prognosis of simple night sweating is better if it can be adjusted in time, and most of it can be cured or improved. Night sweats caused by other diseases tend to be more severe, and can only be reduced or disappear when the primary disease improves or is cured. If night sweating occurs, it is recommended to go to a Chinese medicine hospital.
