Adenoid facies is commonly characterized by elongated maxilla, high arched hard palate, protruding upper incisors, thickened lips, and lack of expression in the face, which requires prompt medical attention and corrective treatment.
Lip thickening may also be congenital genetic causes, generally do not need treatment; a short period of time lip tightness, thickening may be caused by allergies, lip mucosal ulcers can also be caused; lips slowly thickened and accompanied by chapped, flaky and other symptoms may be caused by chronic lipitis.
