Side effects of mifepristone

Side effects of mifepristone include nausea, vomiting, decreased appetite, dizziness, abdominal pain, and rash.

Mifepristone is not only used for abortion, stopping menstruation and pregnancy, and inducing labor in the uterus, but also used for gynecological surgical operations, such as placing and removing intrauterine devices.

It is contraindicated in patients with cardiac, hepatic, renal diseases and adrenocortical insufficiency, long-term corticosteroid therapy, ectopic pregnancy, bleeding disorders, non-compliance with therapeutic use of the drug, non-understanding of the therapeutic effect, porphyria, intrauterine devices, allergy and so on.

Incomplete abortion occurs in a small number of pregnant women when using this product and prostaglandins sequentially to fight early pregnancy, which may cause heavy bleeding, so it is necessary to use this drug under the guidance of a doctor, and should not be used without authorization.
