In adults, pneumonia can be cured after 10-14 days of treatment as long as the resistance and immunity are normal. However, not all cases of pneumonia can be cured. If there is a combination of more serious pneumonia, the diagnosis needs to be confirmed by timely examination, such as pneumonia caused by coronavirus, and timely isolation is recommended, as well as timely completion of routine blood tests, chest CT and inflammatory markers, nucleic acid and other related tests. The duration of this condition may be longer, and if the condition is critical, further treatment in an intensive care unit, including oxygen and ventilator use if necessary, is required to control symptoms. If it is just a common pneumonia, a course of antibiotics is usually chosen depending on the pathogen and can provide relief in about 10-14 days.
