Women are not necessarily sexually frigid after menopause.
It is a normal physiological phenomenon for a woman to enter menopause, which is a transitional stage from childbearing to old age. Although some women will experience frigidity after menopause, there are also some menopausal women who will not experience frigidity. Therefore, women may not always be sexually frigid after entering menopause, and there are obvious individual differences in menopausal manifestations that cannot be generalized.
The reason why menopausal women will be sexually frigid is mainly due to the gradual decline in ovarian function after entering menopause, the body’s secretion of estrogen is relatively significantly reduced, resulting in low estrogen, followed by frigidity, which can be manifested as a lack of libido, sexual fantasies, and a lack of interest in sexual expression. In addition to frigidity, hot flashes, irritability, menstrual disorders and other symptoms may occur during menopause.
Menopausal women are advised to strengthen their daily life management, develop good living habits, and go to the hospital for intervention if necessary.
