What to look for in shoulder pain

Shoulder pain should be alert to frozen shoulder, rotator cuff injury, shoulder fracture, cervical spondylosis, coronary heart disease and so on. 1. Frozen shoulder: pain around the shoulder joint, obvious pain at night, obvious limitation of active and passive activities of the shoulder joint. 2. Rotator cuff injury: ligament injury of shoulder joint caused by trauma to the shoulder joint, limitation of abduction and elevation of the shoulder joint, and normal passive activities. It can be clearly diagnosed through the MRI film of shoulder joint. 3. Shoulder fracture: If the shoulder joint is swollen, painful and with limited activities due to trauma to the shoulder joint, it may be a fracture of the shoulder joint, which can be clearly diagnosed by taking X-ray film. 4. Cervical spondylosis: Cervical vertebral hyperplasia compressing the nerves can cause pain in the shoulder joint, radiating to the upper limb, and the shoulder joint movement is not normal. 5. Coronary heart disease: coronary artery atherosclerosis myocardial ischemia angina can radiate to the shoulder pain, accompanied by chest tightness and chest pain, which can be relieved on its own.
