Stage IIA colon cancer has a certain clinical cure rate after active treatment, but at the same time, there is a recurrence rate of about 20%, which can be reduced through regular review.
Colon cancer is a common malignant tumor caused by gene mutation, heredity and other factors. Stage IIA patients usually belong to the middle stage and early stage, and most of them can be treated with radical surgery and postoperative treatment with radiotherapy and chemotherapy. After active treatment, the five-year survival rate can be about 70%~80%.
Although the overall prognosis is good, the disease is not life-long recurrence. However, the recurrence rate can be reduced and the survival period prolonged by following the doctor’s instructions for regular checkups, exercising in daily life, and eating fiber-rich vegetables and fruits every day.
