Do chalazions grow in the eyes with a bad liver?

A bad liver does not cause chalazion in the eyes; chalazion is mostly associated with blocked eyelid glands. There is no clear causal relationship between the occurrence of chalazion and liver disease. Chalazion is mainly due to excessive secretion of the blepharoplasty glands inside the eyelid, the secretion is sticky and blocks the opening of the blepharoplasty glands resulting in the subsequent secretion not being able to be discharged smoothly, and the formation of cysts by stagnation. After the formation of chalazion, the patient may have an elevated swelling of the eyelid, which is usually not accompanied by pain, and can be promoted to subside by applying warm compresses with a warm towel to the eye. If conservative treatment with hot compresses is not effective, the patient can be treated with surgery to remove the swelling. It is recommended that patients with chalazion consult a doctor to evaluate their condition and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment.
