Symptoms of Yin Deficiency and Excessive Heat in Children

Children with yin deficiency and fire are often manifested as hot flashes in the afternoon, or fever at night, heartburn, mental instability, poor concentration, easy insomnia at night, dreamy, hot hands and feet or hot flashes of bone vapor, dry skin without splendor, zygomatic bone red, dry mouth and pharynx, mouth ulcers, tongue dry and red or cracked, no or little moss, thirst, urine with little and yellowish, and stools with dryness and knotting, and so on. You can give your child foods that nourish yin and reduce fire to improve the symptoms, such as cucumber, green beans, celery, duck, banana, pear, mango, etc. Make sure your child drinks plenty of water.
