Green stool doesn’t mean jaundice is gone, it is not a sign of jaundice, it may be caused by abdominal cold, indigestion, intestinal infection and so on.
Jaundice is usually manifested by the disappearance of scleral yellow staining, and the gradual reduction of systemic symptoms, such as fatigue, anorexia, nausea, abdominal distension, etc.; the color of urine gradually becomes lighter and so on. Green stool is not a manifestation of jaundice, but may be caused by the following factors:
1. Abdominal cold: the abdomen is invaded by cold, which causes the intestinal peristalsis to accelerate and lead to green stools, accompanied by diarrhea and abdominal pain.
2. Indigestion: slow stomach peristalsis, digestive enzyme secretion, food is not fully digested into the intestinal tract caused by pulling green stools.
3. Intestinal infection: the intestinal tract is infected by pathogenic bacteria, causing intestinal peristalsis to accelerate the rapid passage of feces through the intestinal tract causing diarrhea and green stools.
It is recommended that you seek medical advice and follow the doctor’s instructions.
