There is no best way to correct baby strabismus, it needs to be treated by drugs (atropine, botulinum toxin type A), surgery and other ways according to the specific condition and under the guidance of the doctor.
1. Drug treatment: baby strabismus can be corrected with atropine to dilate the pupil or partially correct refractive accommodative esotropia, drops of pupil reducer can form drug myopia, weaken central regulation, effective in correcting high AC/A accommodative esotropia, botulinum toxin type A can also be used, which is mainly applied to small and medium degrees of esotropia, postoperative residual esotropia, and acute paralytic esotropia.
2. Surgery: baby strabismus can be treated by surgery, commonly used surgical methods include muscle weakening surgery, muscle strengthening surgery, horizontal muscle vertical displacement surgery and so on.
