Hypotension can be categorized into physiologic hypotension, primary hypotension, upright hypotension, secondary hypotension, etc. Physiologic hypotension does not require treatment, while the latter three can be treated with hormones, midodrine and treatment for the primary disease. Hypotension can be divided into physiologic hypotension and pathologic hypotension, and pathologic hypotension can be divided into primary hypotension, secondary hypotension and upright hypotension. Pharmacologic treatment needs to be based on the specific causes of hypotension. 1. Physiologic hypotension generally does not need special treatment, but should be followed up regularly. 2. Primary hypotension, which is not regulated by diet and exercise and has severe symptoms, can be treated with fludrocortisone, supplemented with caffeine and ephedrine, if necessary, under the supervision of a doctor. 3. For upright hypotension, Midodrine can be given under the supervision of a doctor, whose main function is to constrict blood vessels and raise blood pressure. 4. Secondary hypotension requires active treatment of the primary disease, and as the primary disease improves, secondary hypotension will improve accordingly. In case of low blood pressure, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time, follow the doctor’s instructions for examination and treatment, and avoid blindly administering medication by oneself, so as to avoid the occurrence of adverse reactions.
