What to Examine on a Low-Dose Lung CT

Low-dose lung CT can detect inflammation, nodules, tumors, and other lesions in the lungs, and is commonly used for physical examination of the lungs and follow-up review of some lung nodules.

Low-dose CT is a diagnostic modality that reduces dose by lowering tube current imaging without changing other scanning parameters. It can completely visualize the lungs below the vascular-bronchial bundles, and even the structures of the lung lobules can be satisfactorily visualized.

Low-dose CT can detect small lung cancers originating from the bronchus, and can also show lung inflammation, mediastinal lymph node enlargement, and lung nodules. It is commonly used for physical examination of the lungs, follow-up of some lung nodules, and follow-up review of lung cancer.

If there is any discomfort, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time for diagnosis and treatment.
