What’s wrong with getting up and getting dizzy?

Dizziness may be caused by hypoglycemia, cervical spondylosis and postural hypotension.
1. Hypoglycemia: When you suffer from hypoglycemia, the glucose in your blood is low, which can’t replenish the energy needed for each system or organ, and the brain is likely to suffer from insufficient supply of oxygen or blood, resulting in dizziness when you get up.
2. Cervical spondylosis: Cervical spondylosis may cause compression or irritation, resulting in localized vascular tortuosity, or insufficient blood supply due to direct stimulation of blood vessels and nerves, leading to dizziness when the patient gets up.
3. Postural hypotension: postural hypotension is a relatively common type of vegetative nerve dysfunction, which may cause transient ischemia of cerebral blood vessels when patients get up after lying down or squatting for a long period of time, thus resulting in the symptom of dizziness upon getting up.
When patients find that they feel dizzy when they get up, it is recommended that they go to the hospital as soon as possible to receive examination to find out the cause of the disease, and under the guidance of the doctor to carry out the relevant treatments, so as to avoid delays in the condition.
