Berberine Hydrochloride Tablets are not currently specified for infants under one year of age, but for children aged 1 to 3 years weighing 10-15 kilograms, the dosage is 0.5 to 1 tablet at a time, three times a day.
Berberine Hydrochloride Tablets is an antibacterial drug used clinically to treat intestinal infections such as gastroenteritis. It is forbidden to use for patients who are allergic to this product, hemolytic anemia, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, and used with caution in the first trimester of pregnancy.
If the infant is taking other drugs should be explained to the doctor in advance to avoid drug interactions. Some patients may experience nausea, vomiting, skin rash and drug fever after taking the drug, which disappears after stopping the drug.
