If benign masses such as age spots appear on the face, they can usually be treated by the following options: 1) Cryotherapy, which involves applying a freezing solution to the surface of the age spots so that the liquid nitrogen can fully penetrate into the tumor and make the tumor necrotic and fall off; 2) Surgical excision, which is a more thorough treatment and can fully and deeply remove the entire benign mass. It can remove the whole benign tumor. The excised material can be sent to the pathology department for pathological examination to exclude malignant cases, such as solar keratosis or squamous carcinoma; 3, treatment by ionization cautery or carbon dioxide laser cautery.
