Orbital swelling and pain may be caused by physiological factors such as visual fatigue, but it cannot be ruled out that it may be caused by glaucoma, orbital cellulitis and other pathological reasons. 1. Physiological reasons: if the patient looks at electronic devices such as computer, cell phone, TV and so on for a long time, it may lead to eye fatigue caused by overuse of eyes, so that the ciliary muscle in the eyes is in the state of excessive contraction, and the patient may experience discomfort symptoms such as soreness, pain, dryness and so on. 2. Pathological causes (1) Glaucoma: When the intraocular pressure of glaucoma patients is too high, the cornea of the patients will become edematous and cloudy, and the patients may suffer from orbital distension and pain, blurred vision as well as nausea, vomiting and other uncomfortable symptoms. (2) Orbital cellulitis: Under the stimulation of inflammation, patients with orbital cellulitis may experience conjunctival congestion, orbital distension and pain, eyelid swelling and other uncomfortable symptoms.
