If symptoms such as bloating, diarrhea, and indigestion occur after removal of the gallbladder, it is possible to take ursodeoxycholic acid to relieve the symptoms, but it is usually not necessary.
After removing the gallbladder there may be dyspepsia, liver function impairment and other sequelae, generally for dyspepsia, after the release of obstructive factors of cholestasis, ursodeoxycholic acid can be used.
Ursodeoxycholic acid is mainly indicated for the treatment of biliary tract or bile duct disorders resulting in cholestasis, improvement of postoperative dyspepsia, and liver function in patients with chronic liver diseases.
During use, adverse reactions such as diarrhea and pasty stools may occur. The drug is generally contraindicated in patients who are allergic to the drug, patients with biliary obstruction, and patients with recurrent biliary colic.
Ursodeoxycholic acid should be used under medical supervision.
