The locations of the three holes for laparoscopic appendicitis are usually at the right Mai’s point, the midpoint between the umbilicus and pubic symphysis, and the periumbilical region. The three holes for laparoscopic appendicitis are the main operating hole, the operating hole and the observation hole. Usually, the main operating hole can be located at the right Mai’s point, i.e., the middle and outer 1/3 of the line between the right anterior superior iliac spine and the umbilicus. The operation hole can be selected at the position of the midpoint between the umbilicus and pubic symphysis, i.e., 3-5 cm below the umbilicus. The observation hole is often chosen around the umbilicus, or in some cases, the navel incision. The appendix is located in the right lower abdomen of the body and is positioned on the body surface at the Mai’s point. When appendicitis occurs, pressure pain can be seen by pressing on the Mai’s point in the lower right abdomen of the body, so laparoscopic appendicitis surgery needs to be performed at the three holes mentioned above. In addition, each of these three points should be separated by more than 3~5cm to avoid the chopstick effect affecting the surgical operation. If laparoscopic appendicitis surgery is needed, please follow the doctor’s instructions.
