A white one on the baby’s nipple is commonly found in cornu rashes and epidermoid cysts, etc.
1. Corns: appearing in newborns, corn rashes are very common and will mostly subside on their own. It is characterized by hard, white or yellowish papules about 1 to 2 mm in size, which are essentially small epidermal cysts with keratin filling in the center.
2. Epidermoid cysts: These are mostly solitary, can grow to 1 to 4 cm, or may remain for a long time at several millimeters, and are large cysts that protrude from the surface of the skin, are soft or hard, white in color, and in some cases have a central depression.
Corns and epidermoid cysts that do not increase in size do not need to be treated, waiting for them to recover on their own. Small white spots on baby’s breasts should not be squeezed on their own, and prompt medical attention is recommended for proper treatment.
