Are Succulent Jade Seed and Cuscuta Cuscuta one and the same Chinese medicine?

There are no studies related to Succulent Yuzi. Cuscuta is a traditional Chinese medicine with the effects of fixing semen and shrinking urine (consolidating semen and urine, preventing random leakage), and so on.

Cuscuta is the mature seed of Cuscuta chinensis (Cuscuta chinensis), a plant of the family Cyclophyllaceae. It enters the liver meridian, kidney meridian and spleen meridian, and has a sweet, pungent flavor and a flat nature. Cuscuta has the effects of fixing spermatozoa, reducing urination, brightening the eyes, nourishing the liver and kidney, stabilizing the fetus and stopping diarrhea. It is used for the treatment of impotence and spermatorrhea, fetal leakage due to deficiency of the kidney (a small amount of bleeding from the vagina in the early stage of pregnancy), fetal restlessness, urination and frequent urination, and diarrhea due to deficiency of the spleen and kidney.

The adverse effects of Cuscuta chinensis are not clear. It is not recommended for people with yin deficiency (deficiency of yin and essence in the body, hyperactive fire), dry stools, and short and red urine (small amount of urine, dark yellow in color). If necessary, please use under the guidance of a professional Chinese medicine practitioner.
