What is the process of dying from terminal cancer

Different cancer stages have different death processes, but most of the cancer patients will experience increased pain, change in mental status, respiratory failure, loss of appetite, etc. before they die. 1. Increased pain: Generally, before dying, most cancer patients have cancer cells spreading to other organs or tissues, so it may lead to more intense pain. 2. Abnormal mental state: Due to the growth and reproduction of cancer cells, coupled with long-term radiotherapy and chemotherapy, etc., it may lead to deterioration of mental state or even coma. Some patients may also have negative emotions such as daze, fatigue, anger and negativity. 3. Respiratory failure: Most patients will suffer from hypoxia due to multiple organ failure before they die, which will lead to respiratory failure, i.e., shortness of breath, dyspnea, and so on. 4. Loss of appetite: Long-term pain and psychological depression caused by cancer, coupled with chemotherapy, radiotherapy and other treatments, will lead to obvious loss of appetite of cancer patients before death, accompanied by symptoms such as emaciation, pallor, weakness of limbs and anemia. When cancer reaches the end of life, it is necessary to apply some treatments to alleviate the pain and prolong the survival period under the guidance of doctors.
