Large areas of eczema are generally referred to as generalized eczema, which has complex causes and may cause lesions such as erythema, papules, and pimples, usually accompanied by significant itching. It is mainly treated with topical medications combined with oral medications.
1. Topical drugs:
(1) Glucocorticoid drugs: the purpose of eczema treatment is mainly to control symptoms, reduce recurrence and improve patients’ quality of life. A small amount of glucocorticoid drugs, such as halometasone cream, hydrocortisone cream, mometasone furoate cream, can be given for a short period of time to quickly relieve symptoms.

2.Oral drugs:
(1) Antihistamines: Itching symptoms are obvious, if necessary, give antihistamines, such as loratadine, levocetirizine hydrochloride, and so on, can reduce the release of histamine from the skin and help relieve itching.
(2) Glucocorticoids: When eczema is acute and the inflammatory response is obvious, systemic glucocorticoid therapy can be given for a short period of time, such as oral methylprednisolone tablets, which can control the condition.
