Causes and care of “acne”

Every day, we encounter a large number of acne patients, the vast majority of whom are unaware of the triggers of acne, not to mention how to control it in terms of diet and lifestyle habits. Therefore, the following is a small summary, which I hope will be helpful to patients.

I. Causes of acne: 1. Excessive stress, sleeping too late, emotional anxiety.

2. Intake of too much sugar, dairy products, starch, fried foods, fat, spicy and heavy food.

3. No good skin care habits, incomplete cleaning of the skin, clogged pores. Or over-cleaning, washing the face 3-5 times a day, resulting in lack of oil and water in the skin, instead of inducing excessive secretion of sebaceous glands.

4. Self-cleaning acne with a row of needles or squeezing acne, which can easily induce infection causing scarring.

5. Endocrine changes, some women have increased acne before menstruation, accompanied by dysmenorrhea, etc.

1. Forbidden foods: fatty, sweet and greasy, sweet drinks, fried foods, fat and dairy products.

2. Suitable foods: seafood (rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids, can reduce sebum secretion, anti-inflammatory), red vegetables (such as carrots and tomatoes, both should be cooked, otherwise not easily absorbed), high-fiber vegetables (such as celery, cabbage, etc.).

Third, how to care for acne skin: 1. Carefully clean the skin and use a face wash containing scrubbing particles if necessary to reduce the clogging of hair follicle pores. It is not easy to wash your face more than 3 times.

2. After cleaning, you must use an oil control and moisturizing cream, otherwise the skin will secrete more oil under the effect of negative feedback.

3. If there are more inflammatory acne and sensitive skin, you should regularly use a mask with soothing effects.

4. Acne skin is prone to acne and scarring under the action of UV rays, so be sure to use sunscreen. In winter, you can choose a day cream with a sun protection factor. In the rest of the season, you must apply sunscreen externally and it is recommended to use medical skin care products.

IV. Prognosis of acne: Intervention at the early stage of acne can prevent acne from becoming nodular or cystic and reduce the risk of scarring by controlling the development of acne through various medical means such as reducing sebum secretion, unblocking hair follicles, anti-Acinetobacteria infection and regulating endocrine levels. Currently, acne can be effectively controlled and cured through medications and various treatments that are more mature. Therefore, it does not matter if you have acne, if you actively seek medical attention when it first starts.
