Recurrence rate after early surgery for cervical cancer

Cervical cancer will recur after early surgery, the probability of recurrence within 1 year is 50%, and the probability of recurrence within 2 years is 75%-80%. After surgery, patients are required to have a review every 3 months within 2 years, every 6 months within 3-5 years, and every 12 months from the 6th year onwards. Cervical cancer can be cured and has a better prognosis if it is detected, diagnosed and treated early, with surgery as the main treatment in the early stage, together with adjuvant radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Cervical cancer detected through regular cervical cancer screening can be prevented by HPV vaccination.
