Post-operative chemotherapy regimen for breast cancer

There are several options for postoperative chemotherapy regimens for breast cancer, and a combination chemotherapy regimen of multiple drugs is generally applied. The preferred chemotherapy regimens include the following: 1. TAC regimen: that is, doxorubicin plus doxorubicin and cyclophosphamide. 2. AC regimen: doxorubicin plus cyclophosphamide, and a dose intensive AC sequential paclitaxel regimen, AC sequential weekly paclitaxel regimen, and TC regimen of doxorubicin combined with cyclophosphamide. 3. 3. other regimens: according to the NCCN guidelines, other regimens are available, including FAC regimens consisting of fluorouracil, doxorubicin, and cyclophosphamide, FEC regimens consisting of epirubicin and fluorouracil, EC regimens consisting of epirubicin and cyclophosphamide, CMF regimens consisting of cyclophosphamide and methotrexate plus fluorouracil, and so on. The decision of which regimen to choose is made by the clinician after assessing the tumor condition and the patient’s own situation.
