What are the symptoms of gastrointestinal colds

Symptoms of gastrointestinal colds are mainly characterized by gastrointestinal symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, bloating and indigestion.

Gastrointestinal colds are mainly caused by a virus called Coxsackie along with a bacterial mixed infection. When a gastrointestinal cold develops, it usually presents with gastrointestinal symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, bloating, and indigestion. Some patients also have systemic symptoms such as fever, generalized body aches, loss of appetite, and fatigue.

If a patient develops a cold and combines the above symptoms, it may indicate a gastrointestinal cold. It is recommended to seek prompt medical attention when discomfort occurs and not to seek treatment on one’s own in order to avoid delaying the condition.
