At what level of macular precursor does surgery need to be done?

Vitrectomy is required to remove the macular prefovea if it causes obvious visual distortion, vision loss and retinal detachment.
Pre-macular retina is mainly due to the proliferation of fibrotic avascular cells on the inner surface of the retina. In mild cases, there may be no symptoms, but in severe cases, vision loss, visual distortion and even detachment of the retina may occur. For mild cases, if it has little effect on vision, it can be temporarily observed without surgical treatment.
If the macular retinal prefovea is serious and has led to more obvious vision loss, surgical treatment is needed to remove the macular prefovea by glass excision, so as to improve vision significantly and eliminate the symptoms of vision distortion.
It is recommended to consult a doctor in time to improve the fundus photography eye ultrasound and other auxiliary examinations to clarify the cause of the disease and the severity of vision loss caused by macular prefovea, and then carry out targeted treatment.
