Are there any real-life examples of small cell carcinoma stage 4 recovering on its own?

There are no real examples of small cell carcinoma stage IV that cured itself.

Stage IV small cell carcinoma does not heal on its own. Small cell carcinoma is one of the pathological types of lung cancer and is closely related to smoking. It is of neuroendocrine origin, relatively malignant, fast growing and prone to distant metastasis. Stage IV small cell carcinoma is more sensitive to radiation and chemotherapy, but it is prone to drug resistance, and its prognosis is not as good as that of early stage, so it needs standardized treatment as prescribed by doctors.

Although stage IV small cell carcinoma cannot be cured by itself, in general, the earlier the diagnosis and the earlier the treatment, the better the prognosis of patients. Patients are advised to go to the hospital as early as possible. Although they may lose the chance of radical surgery, they can still prolong their survival through other treatment modalities (radiotherapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, etc.).
