The most common adverse drug reactions to moxifloxacin hydrochloride are nausea, diarrhea, headache, and dizziness. It can also cause side effects on the blood system, circulatory system, immune system and other systems. Moxifloxacin Hydrochloride Tablets are indicated for the treatment of adults suffering from upper and lower respiratory tract infections such as bronchitis, pneumonia, skin, and soft tissue infections. Common adverse reactions are: 1. hematologic disorders: granulocyte deficiency, pancytopenia. 2. Cardiac disorders: ventricular tachyarrhythmias (including, in very rare cases, cardiac arrest and tip-twist ventricular tachycardia), usually occurring in patients with severe concomitant pharmacologic arrhythmias. 3. diseases of the ear and labyrinth: hearing impairment, including deafness (usually reversible). 4. Diseases of the hepatobiliary system: hepatitis (mainly of the sludge type), liver failure (including fatal cases), jaundice, acute hepatic necrosis. 5. Diseases of the immune system: anaphylactic reactions, anaphylaxis, angioedema. 6. Musculoskeletal and connective tissue disorders: tendon rupture. 7. Neurological disorders: coordination disorders, gait abnormalities, myasthenia gravis (exacerbation), muscle weakness, peripheral neuropathy (possibly irreversible), polyneuropathy. 8. Psychiatric disorders: psychotic reactions (very rare cases may culminate in self-injurious behaviors such as suicidal ideation/suicidal thoughts or suicide attempts). 9. Renal and urinary disorders: renal dysfunction, interstitial nephritis. 10. Diseases of the respiratory system, chest and mediastinum: hypersensitivity pneumonitis. 11. Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders: photosensitivity/photototoxic reactions, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis and laxity. Allergic to the drug, pregnant and lactating women, severe hepatic impairment, patients under 18 years of age is prohibited The drug should be used under the supervision of a specialized physician.
