Corded shadows in the middle lobe of the right lung are often seen in tuberculosis, chronic pneumonia, bronchiectasis, and so on.
1. Tuberculosis: After the cure of tuberculosis, because of the repair of fibrous connective tissue, leaving traces of hyperplasia, the imaging examination can be seen in the middle lobe of the right lung cords and stripes, which belongs to the old foci, and will not have too much impact on the function of the lungs.
2. Chronic pneumonia: due to the increase of inflammatory secretions in the lungs, the aggregation of fibrous tissue hyperplasia, in the imaging examination can be found in the middle lobe of the right lung cord shadows, but the patient usually has no obvious clinical symptoms, some patients may have a slight cough, fever, coughing up sputum and other symptoms.
3. Bronchial dilatation: mostly caused by repeated respiratory infections and bronchial compression, it is a chronic disease, often manifested as dry cough, sputum, hemoptysis and other symptoms, the imaging examination can be seen in the right middle lobe of the lung cord shadows.
If there are no obvious clinical symptoms, most of the cases do not need special treatment, but should be followed up regularly. If clinical symptoms appear, treatment should be taken in cooperation with the doctor.
