2. Folliculitis: an inflammatory skin disease of the hair follicle, mainly caused by bacterial pathogens such as Staphylococcus aureus infections and fungal infections such as Malassezia; it can lead to the formation of red papules around the hair follicles of the patient, and some of the patients can be accompanied by redness, swelling, heat and pain and other discomforts.
Folliculitis can be reasonably treated with topical and oral antibiotics and antifungal drugs. For folliculitis caused by bacterial infection, topical or oral antibiotics can be used, such as fusidic acid cream, cefuroxime, amoxicillin, etc., but it is not recommended to take orally for a long period of time, so as not to cause drug resistance.
For fungal infections caused by ketoconazole ointment can be used externally, internal itraconazole and other treatment, can play a role in anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory.
