Left hydronephrosis may cause pain, but there are some people who may not have obvious clinical symptoms due to the small amount of fluid. It is recommended that the corresponding group of people should consult the doctor in time, and actively treat the disease after clear diagnosis.
People with left hydronephrosis usually have the other side of the kidney compensated in the early stage, thus there is no obvious clinical manifestation, but with the progress of the disease, it will gradually appear left side of the lower back pain and other symptoms. The pain mainly appears in the waist, back, and may also radiate to the lower abdomen, groin and other parts. Combined with urinary tract infection, frequent urination, urgency, painful urination, nausea and vomiting, fever and other symptoms may also occur.
The occurrence of hydronephrosis is related to urinary tract obstruction, including congenital diseases resulting in, such as ureteral stenosis, etc.; infectious diseases, such as tuberculosis, etc. resulting in narrowing of the ureter, urethra, etc.; and acquired diseases, such as urinary stones, prostatic hyperplasia, tumors, and trauma.
If there is obstruction of the ureter into the part above the bladder, the corresponding symptoms will appear earlier; if the obstruction is below the bladder, the clinical symptoms will appear later due to the buffering effect of the bladder.
It is recommended that patients with hydronephrosis should consult the hospital in time and follow the doctor’s instructions for active treatment.
