What does calcium salt deposition mean?

Calcium salt deposition means that some calcium is abnormally deposited in organs such as the liver and kidneys, whereas normally calcium is deposited in the bones. Normally calcium is deposited in the bones and calcium in the bones makes the bones harder. Calcium deposits in the liver, kidneys, and heart, which are soft organs, are abnormal, and the presence of calcium deposits can mean that there is some kind of disease in the body. If calcium salt deposits occur in the kidneys, it means that kidney stones, tubular necrosis, calcification of the kidneys and other diseases may occur, and calcium salt deposits in the kidneys may also lead to atrophy of the kidneys and chronic renal failure when they are severe. Hyperparathyroidism can also cause abnormal calcium deposits in some organs. If calcium deposition has occurred, it is recommended that the patient go to a regular hospital for examination, identify the cause of the disease and take timely treatment.
