The malignant symptoms of endogenous chondrosarcoma are mainly pain, swelling, dysfunction or deformity, and pathological fracture also exists. 1. Pain: benign endogenous chondrosarcoma usually has no pain symptoms, but when malignant change occurs, pain symptoms will appear in early stage, and local pressure pain is more obvious, which is mainly related to osteolytic destruction. 2. Swelling: when malignant degeneration of endogenous chondrosarcoma occurs, local swelling may appear due to the growth of tumor, and a hard mass with poor mobility and unclear boundary can be seen on physical examination. With the development of the disease, the degree of swelling gradually increases. 3. Dysfunction or deformity: when malignant endogenous chondrosarcoma develops near the joints, it can lead to joint dysfunction and activity limitation in the early stage, and as the tumor continues to develop and the bone is destroyed, it will lead to joint deformity. 4. Pathological fracture: when malignant endogenous chondrosarcoma continues to develop and the bone quality is severely damaged, pathological fracture can occur. When malignant transformation of endogenous chondrosarcoma occurs, it should be treated by surgery as early as possible, no matter whether clinical symptoms exist or not.
