Cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, or CIN. cIN2 is seen in colposcopic biopsy results and refers to moderate cervical precancerous lesions that may heal on their own, but are less likely to do so and require aggressive treatment. If a cervical CIN2 result is found in a colposcopic biopsy, it means that there is a moderate precancerous lesion that may develop into cervical cancer if not treated aggressively. Although there is a possibility of self-healing in this case, it is less likely. Expectant therapy is usually not taken, and treatment such as cervical conization is needed to prevent malignant changes. If a woman’s test results show CIN2, it is recommended that she consult a doctor in a timely manner, complete the relevant examinations, and use reasonable methods of treatment under the guidance of the doctor to prevent delays in her condition.
