Patients who get angry and experience pain in the heart are considered to be suffering from myocardial ischemia caused by emotional agitation and anger, or possibly angina pectoris attacks. It is recommended that patients can take sublingual compound salvia drops or heart pills at this time to help end the pain attacks. In addition, it is recommended that the patient have an electrocardiogram and cardiac ultrasound to determine if there is any organic pathology. If patients with previous hypertension or diabetes mellitus or hyperlipidemia have frequent episodes of pain, then they should be advised to have further coronary CT to clarify whether there is severe stenosis of the coronary vessels. If a young patient has heart pain when she is angry, especially if she is not menopausal, then it is highly considered to be a cardiac neurosis, which is not caused by organic lesions.
