Hand skin blackening may be caused by physiological factors, such as ultraviolet radiation, heredity, etc., followed by post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, occupational melanosis and other diseases can also lead to hand skin blackening.
1. Physiological factors: when ultraviolet rays are strong, if you do not do a good job of hand sunscreen measures, so that the hands are exposed to ultraviolet rays for a long time, will lead to hand skin blackening. If the parents’ skin is darker, the children will also inherit darker skin, and the phenomenon of darker skin on the hands will occur, but it is not limited to the hands, the whole body has darker skin.
2. Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation: If the hands suffer from eczema, tinea cruris and other diseases, it may lead to local inflammatory reaction, and when the inflammatory reaction disappears, the phenomenon of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation may occur, resulting in darkening of the skin of the hands.
3. Occupational melanosis: occupational melanosis and long-term exposure to disease-causing agents, if the patient’s long-term hand contact with coal tar, gasoline, recycled rubber and other substances, will lead to hand skin blackening.
There are more reasons for the blackening of the skin of the hands, and after excluding physiological factors, the patient should be admitted to the hospital for examination.
