What’s wrong with the stools?

Considering that the stool is always thin, it may be related to physiological factors such as dietary factors, or pathological factors such as inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, intestinal tuberculosis and colorectal cancer.
1. Dietary factors: long-term consumption of greasy, spicy and other stimulating foods or irregular diets can easily cause gastrointestinal tract dysfunction, which may result in symptoms such as loose stools and unformed stools.
2. Inflammatory bowel disease: mainly refers to Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, because of the chronic non-specific inflammatory response of the intestinal mucosa, resulting in increased exudation and ulcer formation, thus resulting in symptoms such as loose stools.
3. Irritable bowel syndrome: it may be related to intestinal microecological imbalance, hyperperistalsis, high gastrointestinal sensitivity, and neurological dysfunction, which may manifest as diarrhea, abdominal pain, or diarrhea, constipation and other symptoms alternately.
4. Intestinal tuberculosis: when Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection involves the intestinal tract, it can cause intestinal mucosal hyperplasia and increased exudation, and the intestinal tract will be narrowed locally, which will lead to the situation of unshaped stool.
5. Colorectal cancer: if the cancer cells infiltrate locally, it can cause narrowing of intestinal tract and bleeding and other lesions, which can lead to changes in the character of stools, manifesting as loose stools.
In addition, there are many other reasons leading to loose stools, so it is suggested that patients should go to regular hospitals in time for consultation, and after clarifying the causes of the disease, they should carry out targeted treatment under the guidance of doctors in order to reduce the adverse effects of the disease.
