Chinese medicine treatment for migraine

Migraine is a common condition in neurology, characterized by easy recurrence and great pain during the attack period, and many current interventions have not yet been able to receive good therapeutic effects, which is one of the difficulties in neurology. According to an epidemiological survey of 3,837,597,000 people in China, the incidence of migraine is highest in summer in the north and in spring in the south, and the climate in this period is characterized by high humidity and high temperature, showing that the climatic characteristics of both humidity and heat are closely related to migraine attacks. In the analysis of another survey material, it was pointed out that climate was the first among the six expected triggers of migraine, and the change of temperature was more frequent in spring and summer than in autumn and winter, especially when the temperature rises, it is easy to trigger migraine attacks. In addition, migraines often occur during the day when the temperature is highest, suggesting that temperature changes have a more significant effect on headaches than humidity. In view of this, the author proposes the treatment of migraine by clearing heat and drying dampness. The treatment was carried out with the addition of Er Chen Tang, and the efficacy was satisfactory through clinical control observation. The results showed that the total effective rate of the treatment group was 96% and the total effective rate of the control group was 86%, and the difference between the two groups was very significant (p<0.01). There are four origins of the formula, and the composition of drugs contained in each school is different, which are found in "Danxi Xinfa", "Medical Zong Jinjian", "Medical Alcohol Remains" and "Medical Formulae Examination". As for the etiology and treatment of migraine, various schools of thought have different understanding and each has its own strengths. Most scholars believe that the basic pathological changes of migraine are paralysis of the ligaments and the tendons and veins. Therefore, in the treatment of migraine, the most widely used worm medicine is to resolve blood stasis and relieve pain, which is often seen in newspapers and magazines and discussed a lot. Firstly, migraine is an episodic disease, and the theory of Chinese medicine cannot explain the sudden onset and cessation of the pathology of the ligaments that cause migraine, which is contradictory to the true meaning of the theory of "long-standing disease entering the ligaments". Secondly, modern medicine believes that migraine is caused by the constriction of intracranial blood vessels and the dilation of extracranial blood vessels caused by various pathogenic factors, and insect drugs mostly have the effect of dilation of blood vessels. Therefore, the emphasis on the application of such drugs is contrary to the modern pharmacological understanding of Chinese medicine. Thirdly, migraine is mainly characterized by recurrent, severe swelling and pain or throbbing pain during the attack period, so it seems to be more in line with the basic pathological knowledge of Chinese medicine to explain this kind of peak lesion which is painful and painful at the first action and stopping at the first time by damp-heat upheaval and disturbance of qiqi. Fourthly, according to the author's clinical systemic comparative observation, the treatment of migraine by worm medicine has not shown good effect, which needs further verification. This study showed that there was no significant difference in the efficacy of the method of clearing heat and drying dampness on each symptom of migraine (P > 0.05). In terms of percentage, it has better efficacy on fire-heat and blood-stasis evidence, but the small number of cases of the second evidence is not yet indicative of the problem and needs further observation. From another perspective, perhaps this method has a unique therapeutic effect on migraine, treating the disease with unified evidence, which is a formula that is appropriate for the disease. As long as the diagnosis of the disease is confirmed, no matter what the symptoms are, satisfactory clinical effects can be received. I once treated a 24-year-old female patient who was cured after 9 doses of this formula. Her mother and sister in the family both suffered from migraine, but they were also cured after taking more than 10 doses of this formula without any diagnosis. In the present observation, although each symptom was counted separately, there was no difference in the treatment, and all of them received good therapeutic effect with the addition of Er Chen Tang. For the specific method of clearing heat and drying dampness to treat migraine, you can come to the hospital directly or communicate with me directly through telephone consultation first, and give appropriate advice for your specific situation. It is suggested that the treatment of migraine should emphasize the disease rather than the evidence, and the treatment should be based on the unified evidence.
