Hyperechoicity in the uterine cavity on ultrasound needs to be considered as the cause of submucosal fibroids, endometrial polyps, early stage of pregnancy, foreign body in the uterine cavity, and incomplete abortion. 1. Submucosal fibroids: ultrasound shows hyperechoic intrauterine cavity, often accompanied by abnormal uterine bleeding, hysteroscopy can be done to confirm the diagnosis and give treatment. 2. Endometrial polyp: ultrasound report shows high echo in the uterine cavity, which often causes postmenstrual dribbling, hysteroscopy can be done to confirm the diagnosis, and if there is any abnormality, a biopsy can be taken under the hysteroscopy to do the pathologic examination. 3. Early pregnancy: because the gestational sac is not fully formed, the ultrasound performance is intrauterine hyperechoic, you can check the blood HCG differential diagnosis. 4. Intrauterine foreign body: ultrasound is intrauterine hyperechoic, consider the possibility of intrauterine device. 5. Incomplete abortion: ultrasound suggests intrauterine hypoechoic mass, can be examined by hysteroscopy, after confirmation of the diagnosis of the uterus for treatment.
