Lipitis often occurs with unknown etiology, may be related to heredity or temperature, chemical, mechanical stimulation, on the cause of the removal of irritating factors, symptomatic drug anti-infection treatment.
1. Treatment of the cause. Daily attention should be paid to lip moisturizing, remove lip licking, lip biting bad habits, avoid lip less contact with irritating substances.
2. Symptomatic treatment. As the cause is unknown, but lipitis is often secondary to infection, for dry and flaky lipitis can be localized wet compresses, infection may bleed, scabs can be used antibiotic ointment or hormone ointment, to promote the healing of the infected surface. For long-term lipitis, surgery or radiotherapy should be considered if cancer is suspected.
