Which is more serious, a pulmonary nodule or a nodular shadow?

Lung nodules generally refers to a description of a disease, while nodular shadows refer to an imaging finding, and there is no comparison between the two in terms of which one is more serious or comparable.

The presence of nodules on imaging may be a space-occupying lesion or an inflammatory change, and the nodules on imaging can disappear or even improve significantly after anti-infective treatment as prescribed by the doctor.

Lung nodules are lung space-occupying lesions, which may be benign or malignant. If they are benign, they need to be reviewed regularly to see if there is any change, and if they are malignant, they need to be diagnosed by pathology, and once they are diagnosed, they need to be treated with surgery or even radiotherapy.
