The main function of disodium pamidronate is used for bone pain caused by hypercalcemia and osteolytic cancer metastasis complicated by malignant tumors. Pamidronate disodium belongs to the second generation of bisphosphonates, the drug can be distributed on the surface of the bone trabeculae, blocking the osteoclasts from dissolving the bone; inhibit the activity of destroying osteoclasts, osteoclast precursors to osteoclasts, and it has a pain-relieving effect on the pain caused by osteolytic cancer metastasis. Pamidronate disodium may cause arthralgia, myalgia, generalized pain, nausea, vomiting, anorexia, constipation, headache, insomnia, drowsiness, dizziness, thrombocytopenia and other adverse reactions. Allergic persons are prohibited; children, pregnant women, lactating women are prohibited; severe renal impairment, cardiovascular disease, driving with caution.
