What to do with a fast heart rate in neurosis

Patients with cardiac neurosis with fast heart rate can be given beta-blockers, neurotrophic agents, and anxiolytic-depressants. Patients with cardiac neurosis often present with symptoms similar to cardiovascular disease, such as palpitations, dyspnea, precordial pain, insomnia and anxiety, but do not have organic cardiac pathology per se, which is a physiologic disease involving psychological aspects. 1. β-blockers: they can antagonize the agonistic effect of catecholamines on the heart, and play a role in suppressing cardiac inhibition, thus reducing the heart rate. Representative drugs are metoprolol tartrate tablets, atenolol tablets, propranolol hydrochloride tablets, etc. Patients with bronchial asthma are prohibited. 2. Neurotrophic agent: it can regulate the function disorder of plant nerves, nourish neuron cells, relieve tension and stabilize heart rate. Representatives of the drug are glutamine tablets, vitamin B1 tablets. Contraindications are not clear. 3. Anti-anxiety and depression drugs: can relieve the nervous and anxious state of mind, stabilize the heart rate. Representative drugs are paroxetine hydrochloride tablets, alprazolam tablets. Accompanied by liver and kidney function damage, chronic obstructive pulmonary lesions are prohibited. When using medication, must follow the doctor’s instructions, rational application of drugs, do not use drugs arbitrarily, to avoid causing serious adverse reactions.
