What is the suture reaction

Suture reaction refers to a kind of rejection reaction of atopic constitution patients who reject the thread knot due to their own reasons. After the completion of the operation, it is necessary to apply suture to close the surgical incision, and when applying non-absorbable silk thread, it will exist in the patient’s body in the form of a foreign body after the operation, and some of the patients with idiosyncratic traits will be more sensitive to the foreign body and produce obvious rejection reaction. Suture reaction is mainly a localized inflammatory reaction of the wound, symptoms may include pain, redness, swelling, itching, and in severe cases, pus may flow, and the scar will become bigger and harder after the wound heals. If the suture reaction occurs, it is recommended to go to the hospital as soon as possible for regular treatment, so as not to aggravate the condition.
